Product dissolution method:

This product is expanded and dispersed in hot water over 85ºC, usually dissolved by the following methods:

1. Take 1/3 of the required amount of hot water, stir to completely dissolve the added product, and then add the rest of the hot water, which can be cold water or even ice water, and stir to the appropriate temperature (20ºC) to completely dissolve.

2. Dry blending and mixing:

In case of the combination of other powders, it should be thoroughly mixed with the powders and then added with water, so that it can be quickly dissolved without agglomeration.

3. Organic solvent wetting method:

First disperse the product into an organic solvent or wet it with an organic solvent, then add it to cold water and it will dissolve well.

 

Precautions for preparation of solution:

1. When and after the product is added, the product shall be fully stirred to reach the maximum viscosity.

2. Product specifications: low viscosity is less than 50,000 to 100,000 medium viscosity and high viscosity is 100,000 to 150,000.

 

Product features:

3. This product can dissolve in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution.

4. Solubility: soluble in water and some solvents, such as appropriate proportion of ethanol/water, propanol/water, etc.Aqueous solution has surface activity.The solubility varies with the viscosity. The lower the viscosity is, the greater the solubility will be. The properties of HPMC of different specifications are different to some extent.

6. Surface activity: the aqueous solution of this product has surface activity and functions as a colloidal protective agent, emulsifier and dispersant.

Hot gelation: when heated to a certain temperature, the product becomes an opaque solution to the aqueous solution due to gelation or precipitation.But as it cools, it returns to its original solution.The temperature at which condensation and precipitation occur depends on the type of product, the concentration of the solution, and the rate of heating.

8. Low ash content: due to the hot gel properties of this product, hot water washing is used in the preparation process to achieve the purpose of refining, so its ash content is very low.

9. Stability of PH value: the viscosity of the aqueous solution of this product is hardly affected by the acid and base, and the solution is stable in the range of PH3.0-11.0.

10. Shape retention: compared with other aqueous polymers, the aqueous solution of this product has special viscoelastic energy.It has the ability to maintain and improve the shape of extruded ceramic products.

11. Lubricity: adding this product can reduce the friction coefficient and improve the lubricity of extruded ceramic products and cement products.

12. Film-forming property: this product can produce strong, flexible, transparent thin sheets with good oil and fat resistance.

Suspension: prevents solid particles from settling, thus inhibiting the formation of sediment.

14. Adhesiveness: used as a binder for pigments, tobacco products and paper products, with excellent functions.

 

Packaging and storage

Packaging: plastic paper bags are used externally and polyvinyl chloride plastic bags are used internally. The net weight of each bag is 20KG or 25KG.
