XINWEITE brand hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a white or light yellow, odorless, non-toxic powdery solid, which is made from a series of chemical reactions of refined cotton. It is a non-ionic soluble cellulose ether. Hydroxyethyl cellulose HEC has good thickening, water retention and high bond strength properties. It has been widely used in petroleum mining, coatings, construction, medicine, food, textile, papermaking, and polymer polymerization.

Application field
As a protective colloid, HEC can be used in coatings, which can significantly improve its thickening, water retention and leveling properties. Increase its smoothness and greatly improve construction efficiency. It can also be used as a dispersant in some suspended polymers (such as styrene, benzoate, etc).
