Number of recovered patients:- The patient was announced to be cured in the day: 1,100 cases- Total number of cured cases: 10,590.917 cases2. The number of patients who are breathing oxygen is 106 cases, of which:- Breathing oxygen through a mask: 91 cases- HFNC high flow oxygen: 1 case- Non-invasive mechanical ventilation: 3 cases- Invasive mechanical ventilation: 11 cases3. Number of patients who died:- On September 28, 1 death was recorded in: Hai Duong.- Average number of deaths recorded in the past 07 days: 0 cases.- The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 43,148, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.- The total number of deaths ranked 26/230 territories, the number of deaths per 1 million people ranked 138/230 countries and territories in the world.Compared with Asia, the total number of deaths ranked 7/49 (3rd in ASEAN), deaths per 1 million people ranked 28th/49 Asian countries and territories (5th in ASEAN).Vaccination status:On September 28, 48,759 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 260,065,575 doses, of which:+ Number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 220,437,130 doses: 1st dose is 71,063,935 doses; The second dose is 68,654,697 doses; The additional dose is 14,539,356 doses; The first booster dose is 50,795,316 doses; The second booster dose is 15,383,826 doses.+ Number of doses for children from 12-17 years old is 22,954,915 doses: 1st dose is 9,104,175 doses; The second dose is 8,848,516 doses; The first booster dose is 5,002,224 doses.+ Number of doses for children from 5-11 years old is 16,673,530 doses: 1st dose is 9,850,375 doses; The second dose is 6,823,155 doses. In the country, although the epidemic situation is still basically under control, many localities have recorded new variants of Omicron with the ability to spread faster than the original variant; The rate of vaccination for 3rd and 4th doses and for children is still low in some places. The rate of increase in the daily incidence of COVID-19 depends on various factors such as the nature of the variation in infectivity (the SARS-CoV-2 virus frequently mutates and is unstable);Immunological protection (acquired or vaccinated) decreases with time and vaccine coverage;infectious block;response capacity and measures to prevent and control the epidemic, so it is difficult to predict a specific increase in the coming time. The response system for epidemic prevention and control from central to local levels should be prepared for possible epidemic situations;continue to strictly and drastically implement epidemic prevention and control measures, especially vaccination against COVID-19 and communication to raise people's and community's awareness.Editorial board of the website of the Department of Preventive MedicineCopyright belongs to Department of Preventive Medicine, Ministry of Health.License to set up Website No. 18/GP-TTĐT issued by the Administration of Broadcasting and Electronic Information - Ministry of Information and Communications on February 27, 2013.Office address: lane 135/1 Nui Truc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.Tel: (024) 38430040, Fax: (024) 37367379
